Ribbings were done by hand (and probably took as much time to knit as did the rest of the machine knit body). Pattern was generated by Sweater Wizard software. He's happy with the fit -- and I'm happy to have it done! Yarn is a coned Donegal tweed from a Webs closeout.

A Headless Husband shot...

Did you do the ribbing before or after you machine knit?
I've got an LK-150 and can't wait to have the time to work up a SW pattern for it.
Thanks Liz! And Laurie, the ribbings were done after I had knit the body/sleeve pieces. No particular reason, sometimes I do it the other way also, depending on the yarn I'm using. Mine was also done on the LK-150 -- what a little workhorse that machine is.
