A journey of discovery with fiber and fabric -- and a cute little dog, too.
Here's another vintage crochet pattern -- this one from a 1965 Vogue Knitting magazine. And here's a sneak peek at how it's working up in some discontinued Jaeger Baby Merino:
Gosh Karen, do you even have any yarn that isn't orange?
I love pics from the 50's and 60's... up to 1965 pretty much. I think women then looked so amazing, as far as style goes. Sigh.I wonder if my Mom has old stuff too, I remember she taught me how to crochet in the 70's when I was 7 or 8. Maybe she has cool stuff from the 60's too!
This is very cool. I also love vintage patterns (and I love the orange)!
Well, Chris, there's always ebay if Mom isn't a pack rat! Lots of upkeep to look so glam though -- especially the hair -- no "wash, blow dry and off you go" back then. I'm all about orange love too, Lorraine, but it just might be time to branch out -- green, anyone?
