Result? One mysterious* fall from the tree, and voila -- Pig No More.
*Monty seems to be pleading the Fifth on just how the alleged pig took an alleged fall. Innocent (yet opportunistic) bystander? Or hardened felon? You be the judge.
As for me, I think I'll go with more of the crocheted snowflakes.
Just in time for spring -- a cute little necklace that will add a pop of color to casual tees -- and what better material for a sewist to use than buttons?
I happened to see this little project while catching up on some sewing blogs. Directions are available at Craft Stylish, "Make a Button Link Necklace..." by Susan Beal. It's quick and easy, and not too expensive -- most of us probably have the buttons on hand already! Add some split rings (in two sizes) a small amount of chain and a fastener and you'll have a cute little necklace. It's not Bulgari, but who needs that heavy stuff in the Spring!
And for something completely different -- how about a dog on a rug? See how nicely he blends with the decor? 
Not quite, but it always seems like Christmas when I get a box from The Loopy Ewe! I've said it before, but it's worth saying again -- it's so nice to deal with a business where your custom is valued. We're always quick to complain about bad service, especially on the 'net, so it's pleasant to point out those vendors who go 'above and beyond'. Almost as much fun as playing with new sock yarn is seeing what little lagniappe Sheri has included with your order. This time it's a sample of the wool wash Soak -- something I've wanted to try for a while.
